ALERT !!!!! ALERT!!!!! 6/10/2025 – Upcoming Chipseal projects on Juniata Township Roads.

As early as the week of 6/16/2025 anticipate traffic delays in Riverview Heights Subdivision, on Stone Bridge Rd. and the entire length of Henderson Overlook Rd.

More detail will follow when it is available.

5/21/2025 – Crestwood Estates – Anticipate updates to roadway beginning 5/21/2025. The first phase will be to improve drainage of runoff with the installation of drain tiles at key locations. Phase 2 of this project will be to improve road surfaces at a later date.

10/27/2024 Good News for the future – Juniata Township has received official word that the Township has been selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to receive a grant in the sum of $264,044.00. This grant request was submitted 13 months ago in hope of sufficiently funding a permanent and long-term solution for repair of this section of Point Rd. Over the years, one lane of the roadway has been gradually slipping downward into the Juniata River. Past repairs to mitigate the slide proved insufficient. More detail on this to come later.

4/8/2025 – Planning has started on this project. Actual groundwork may not occur until 2026.
